GenomeScan® OncoPair

Matched Sequencing. Clearer Answers. Smarter Treatment

What is OncoPair?

OncoPair is a high-resolution, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited sequencing solution that distinguishes inherited (germline) mutations from acquired (somatic) ones. By comparing tumor DNA to a matched normal reference, OncoPair filters out background noise and reveals tumor-specific mutations with exceptional accuracy.

This matched design empowers researchers and clinicians to:

  • Identify actionable mutations with confidence
  • Design targeted therapies based on unique somatic profiles
  • Accelerate clinical trial readiness with reproducible, high-quality data

Whether you’re advancing immunotherapies, tracking tumor evolution, or refining patient stratification, OncoPair provides the genomic clarity to drive research forward—fast and confidently.

Note: OncoPair is for research use only and not intended for clinical diagnostics.

Sample Submission Guide

Actionable genomic insights start with GenomeScan® OncoPair.

Designed for Challenging Samples

Real-world clinical material is often limited or degraded. OncoPair is optimized for:

  • FFPE and Fresh Frozen Tissues
  • Rare or Archival Tumor Samples

This makes it ideal for retrospective studies, rare cancer types, and difficult-to-source specimens.

Ultra-Deep Sequencing

Our platform delivers comprehensive genomic profiling with:

  • 1 Billion Paired-End Reads per Tumor Sample (WGS)
  • 300 Million Paired-End Reads for Matched Normal Tissue (WGS)

This depth enables robust detection of somatic variants, structural alterations, and CNVs, even from FFPE samples.

Tissue Contamination Control

  • Accurate somatic variant detection starts with high tumor purity. GenomeScan® OncoPair ensures data integrity through:

    • Certified Pathologist Review: Every sample undergoes tumor cell percentage (TCP) assessment to validate tumor content.
    • Targeted Microdissection: When needed, microdissection enriches tumor regions, enhancing analytical precision and reducing noise from surrounding tissue.

Seamless Integration with Clinical Workflows

GenomeScan® OncoPair operates under ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, meeting the highest standards for:

  • Technical Competence
  • Reproducibility
  • Regulatory Compliance

Comprehensive Variant Spectrum

GenomeScan® OncoPair delivers a complete view of the tumor’s genomic landscape, capturing the full spectrum of clinically relevant alterations in a single, streamlined workflow.

  • Single Nucleotide Variants (SNVs)
Detect point mutations that may drive oncogenesis or influence treatment response.
  • Insertions and Deletions (Indels)
Identify small genomic changes that can disrupt gene function or regulatory elements.
  • Copy Number Variants (CNVs)
Reveal amplifications and deletions across the genome, including key cancer driver genes.
  • Structural Variants (SVs)
Detect large-scale rearrangements such as translocations, inversions, and duplications—critical for understanding tumor evolution and resistance mechanisms.

Transforming Tumor Genomics with OncoPair’s PCGR Reporting

Turning complex genomic data into clear clinical insights is essential for precision oncology. With GenomeScan® OncoPair, you have the option to include Personalized Cancer Genome Reporter (PCGR), a powerful reporting tool that transforms variants into annotated information.

  • Therapeutic Relevance
Annotates tumor-specific variants with links to databases, such as the NCBI or EBI database.
  • Visual Summaries and Clinical Annotations
Includes intuitive graphics, variant classifications, and evidence levels to support fast interpretation by clinical teams.
  • Transparent and Reproducible Reporting
Built with curated databases, ensuring consistency and traceability across projects.

Whether you’re preparing for clinical trials or conducting translational research, PCGR reporting adds clarity, confidence, and clinical relevance to your genomic data.
